Job Description: Bid Coordinator

Assignment Focus: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Bid Coordinator to support our bid management process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing, preparing, and submitting bids and proposals for flooring projects within our New Construction Division. The Bid Coordinator will work closely with our sales and estimating teams to ensure accurate and timely bid submissions. Proficiency in Excel and experience in estimating are essential for this role.

Primary Responsibilities

· Review take-offs prepared by estimating for accuracy

· Prepare and organize bid documents including proposals, bid packages, and related materials

· Coordinate bid activities and deadlines ensuring that all requirements are met and submissions are completed on time

· Maintain accurate records of bid documents, correspondence, and project related information

· Collaborate with sales and estimating teams to gather necessary information and ensure alignment on bid strategies and requirements

· Communicate with supply chain and dispatch teams to obtain pricing and necessary information for bid submissions

· Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the bid management process, implementing best practices and tools as needed

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Proven experience as Bid Coordinator or similar role in the construction or flooring industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
  • Strong understanding of estimating principles and techniques
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary will be commensurate with experience
  • 401k with company contribution of $0.50 on the dollar up to 6% for matching
  • First year 12 days paid time off, after second year 18 days paid time off
